Hey, nice to met you! I’m Joyce. I’m a foodie and freelance marketing and culinary consultant located in New York City.
You probably figured out that I’m a bit food obsessed. Don’t worry that’s a good thing!
I LOVE food and anything associated with it. Food is more than just cooking for me – it’s about learning new cultures, discovering new dishes, shopping at markets, finding out what ingredients are out there and a whole host of things. I definitely don’t eat to live, I live to eat!
How did the site get its name? Well, it started from conversations with friends that involved a pair of tangerines and shoes. Strange but true. One good friend in particular helped me come up with the name over some (not so tasty) Colombian pastries and coffee. I regret ordering their poorly made tres leches cake but not the time spent. In fact, I guess I had to go through eating that cake in order to get to where I am now!
