<hops on soapbox>
I’m all for perfume. In fact, I used to work at one of the largest perfume houses in the world so you know I love the stuff. (In case you’re wondering, I prefer citrus or white flower notes in my perfumes. I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE musky, vanilla, overly sweet fragrances. Vanilla belongs in baked goods, people and not on your skin!)
Here we go: PERFUME DOES NOT BELONG IN RESTAURANTS! Hello. If you’re going out to eat, you’re better off not wearing any perfume. OK, that’s harsh. At the very least, just dab it behind your ears. Yet another addition to the “I <3 fizzy citrus dink drinks” file. What can I say? I like what I like and I REALLY like fizzy citrus drinks!
I love, love, love, love, LOVE mangoes so when I first spotted this drink at (of all places!) Mitsuwa marketplace, I had to try it. (Blood oranges are great – I like them alot – but mangoes are always my #1 fruit.) I never had a mango soda before and I was curious to find out how this tasted. It’s a good thing I tried it because I love the way it tastes! The soda’s got a nice light carbonation, it’s not too sweet and it has a great, well, mango-y & citrus-y flavor to it.Share on Facebook
